Victoria Beckham's Projects
The end of 2006 saw a couple of significant projects from Victoria Beckham. Most notably she launched her new book, That Extra Half An Inch, and also she established a website for DVB Style.
DVB Style will carry Victoria Beckham's DVB denim collection as well as shoes, sunglasses and handbags that she has designed.
The description of Victoria Beckham's book, That Extra Half An Inch, at her publishers, Penguin, includes a quote from the author:
"I've always been a girls' girl. And I know from experience that making the very best of yourself is something any woman can do. I was never the six-foot-tall pin-up. I've always been the girl-next-door who got lucky. I've come a long way in the last ten years, but this book isn't my attempt to tell you what or what not to do. It's just to share some of what I've learned."
The ethos of the book is that looking good is not about money - it's about style.
Before the launch of dvbstyle.com Victoria Beckham's bags were already available - although mainly in Japan.
Previously she was with the Rock and Republic label, but split after reported disagreements with Michael Ball, the owner of the jeans label.
