Roberto Conte's Biography

Big Brother housemate, Roberto Conte was born in Italy, where he was in the Parachute Regiment. Roberto came top of 2000 trainee parachutists and became a sergeant but did not continue in the army.

Roberto's brother Filippo said that Roberto was very upset about the death of a fellow squaddie Enzo Zegarelli.

Roberto Conte, who was 32 when he entered Big Brother's series 6, was in the final of the Most Handsome Man In Italy 1996 contest, however it was not to be for Roberto with Big Brother after he was the fourth housemate to be evicted, narrowly losing to Derek in the public vote.

As he grows older, Roberto believes he is becoming increasingly like his father in terms of looks and personality.

Previously a professional windsurfer and basketball player, before Big Brother, Roberto was a teacher in Liverpool with desires to be a physiotherapist. He once taught physical education and religious education at Wayne Rooney's school.

Roberto Conte used to date Sue Lindley-French for over two years.

Roberto Conte also worked in a restaurant. He started as a dish washer, and worked his way up. Roberto, who admires Jamie Oliver, showed off his culinary expertise in the Big Brother house.

Roberto's friend and agent Adrian Bagnoli said that he wanted to make a feature of Roberto's apron that he regularly wore in the Big Brother House.

Since leaving BB6, Roberto Conte has done a photo shoot with Vanessa Nimmo from Big Brother's fifth series.

He then got a job teaching special needs children in Liverpool.
