Stacey Solomon was born on 4 October 1989 the daughter of Fiona, a civil servant, and David, a photographer.

She has an older sister Jemma and a younger brother Matt.

Stacey Solomon's parents broke up when she was seven.

She gained 13 GCSEs and four AS levels at King Solomon school in Essex and was studying performing arts at Havering College when she auditioned for the X Factor.

At 17 Stacey Solomon became pregnant by boyfriend Dean Cox and gave birth to Zachary. However, Stacey and Dean broke up.

In 2009 Stacey Solomon came third in the X Factor, losing out to Joe McElderry and Olly Murs.

In 2010 Stacey Solomon won the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

For a while she dated Steve-O, who like her was a contestant on The Jump.

More recently she started going out with Joe Swash. They married in 2022.

On 22 September 2016, ITV revealed that I’m A Celebrity...Extra Camp would be hosted by Stacey Solomon along with Vicky Pattison, Chris Ramsey, and Joe Swash.

In October 2016, Stacey Solomon won £60,000 for charity with a strong performance on The Chase. Back in 2013, she had won £20,000 for Alzheimer Research UK on another quiz show Tipping Point.

In February 2019, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash revealed they were expecting their first child.

Stacey and Joe Swash married in 2022.

In September 2022, BBC One revealed that they had commissioned a documentary with the title Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas to air on 15 December 2022.

In February 2023, she hosted Stacey Solomon's Sort Your Life Out. The following year she hosted series 4 of the show on BBC One.

Sort Your Life Out won the Formatted Popular Factual category in the Royal Television Society Awards.
